🗣️ Just for fun I wanted to post some of the strangest conversations I’ve had in the salon. I don’t get these weirdos every day, but this one actually did happen today!

Me - Hi, this is — at —-, how can I help you?

Weirdo - Hi, I just had my dog groomed with you yesterday and I’m not happy with the service. I want it to be re done.

Me - I’m really sorry to hear that! Can you tell me a little more about why you are dissatisfied? (Looking up dog in computer from phone #, saw it was a mini goldendoodle bath with face, feet, sani..nice dog)

Weirdo - Well, when I let her out for her potty break this morning the first thing she did was jump in a big mud puddle! She is filthy and she smells bad! I just paid to have her bathed yesterday!!!

Me - Ummm….*uncomfortable laugh. So you want her to be bathed again?

Weirdo - yes! I just had it done and she is a mess!

Me - ok I can schedule you an appointment but it will be charged at the regular rate.

Weirdo - I thought you guaranteed your grooms??

Me - well, I do..but not for that. 😂

🗣️ I had a woman tell me that if you sleep with your dog in the nude the worms will crawl out of the dog and into your butt at night. She claimed it happened to her. I didn't know what to say.

🗣️ Weirdo - Did you just pick up my dog with your fingers???

Me - Uhmmm my fingers touched your dog upon pick up yes.

Weirdo - Do you even know how To properly pick up a dog, I don’t want you touching my dog I want a different groomer.

Me - shocked pikachu face.

Weirdo - Get some one else up here I want to talk to someone else

Me - Everyone else picks up the dog the same way.

Crazy lady leaves. We literally all did the hand under chest, scoop the butt. We still don’t know how to pick up this dog

🗣️ I will NEVER forget the woman with two English cockers who said at drop off "They are so needy. They think I gave birth to them and they want to crawl into my vagina".

I still cackle when I think about it. Dog people can be so weird. 😂

🗣️ Oh god i have this regular pom that comes in and for the first 2 grooms could not figure out exactly what was wrong with the sanitary because mom would always complain about it.

At pickup at the 3rd groom mom said that it wasn’t right and asked me to fix it. I kept taking the sani tighter, not really sure what exactly the issue was. At the end of it she wanted the dreaded landing strip that she called her “bikini wax” and the belly completely shaved up to her armpits “to her titties” according to mom.

The conversation was absolutely mind boggling, and you guys don’t even have to watch the hand motions she was making while explaining 😭
