Pricing Strategies Workshop Recap š°
Another free Daily Groomer workshop in the books! If you missed it... Here's the takeaways!
Holy moly.
Last night was one of the craziest nights of my life.
(Well, not actuallyā¦ the night I turned 21ā¦. thatās a story for another time š) BUT last night was one of the craziest nights of my daily groomer life for sure!
Let me catch you upā¦
We had over 500 daily groomers sign up for our free pricing workshop this month š¤Æ.
And last night during the seminar, so many of you tried to join that zoom capped us at 100. We paid for premium but I guess we didnāt pay enoughā¦. (time to invest more money into these workshops!)
I knew this one was going to be popular, but I had NO clue that it was going to be āzoom-crashing-popularā š
My favorite part of the whole thing was when Chris shared the ā4 triggersā he uses to signal that itās time for a price raiseā¦
As everyone was flooding in, Iām not going to lie - I was worried that it wouldnāt live up to the hype.
But boy was I wrong!! Check out what some people had to say about itā¦
āI canāt believe this much value was packed into 1 hourā
āIt was fantastic - thank you! Perfect speed, slides were professional and useful, Chris was to the point and gave a lot of good tactical info we can use. Also appreciated all the Q&A.ā
āIām the lowest priced groomer in my area and this was super helpful, THANK YOU!!!!!ā
āThese workshops are amazing, Iāve collected so many golden nuggets. Happy to connectā
Now iām still decompressing from the event, but when i get my head back on straight I want to make the recording AND the notes available to anyone who missed the workshop.
If you werenāt part of the lucky 100 groomers that got to watch it live BUT want to see what you missed, fill out the 30 sec form here:
Iāll make sure I send you the edited stuff early next week!!
Also big shout out to our guest expert Chris Elias, co-owner of Ruff Life Mobile. Heās from Long Island and talks a million miles an hour so he jam packed 3 hours worth gold into our 1 hour session. (You might want to rewatch the recording on .5 speed so you donāt miss anything!!! ššš)
Thanks again to everyone who joined us last night š
š£ļø What People Are Barking About
The best of the best advice or thought provoking topics shared this week onlineš
First thingās first - you canāt feel bad about this. Puppyās are going to come in and ownerās are never really going to āgetā what to do. So instead of stressing about poor puppy practice, here are some tips:
Talk to the client about starting out with just a bath and trim. Charge less and eeaassseeee the puppy into it. Better to have a 30 min $30 trim rather than a scared dog for life!
Educate the client about getting their puppers on a regular schedule to keep them calm as they grow up.
If things get really tough, you can always just tell the owners itās not happening. If they canāt be groomed safely then itās not worth it for anyone.
Gotta love puppy grooms!
